First day of a new decade. Hey ho.
All I can say is, that this makes no difference: the last 2 months of 2019, I was unable to do any endurance sport whatsoever without huge payback (JUST AS WELL I HAVE NO JOB!!) due to viral illnesses & their after effects, and my goal for the early part of 2020 is to get over this, so I can resume again. Gently. So this means no "training" as we know it,
When I will be "better", really is another matter. It will involve a lot of rest & patience.
(For those that don't know. I lost 7 years of my life, my career, all my hobbies/sport/social, and more, to post viral fatigue syndrome / ME, 1998 - 2005 - So I have history with reactions to viruses. This is PEANUTS compared to early 1998..... then, I was fully disabled & was on long term benefits for 3 years+)
If you're healthy, enjoy, & don't take it for granted. My 2019 was my best year ever, and by October I felt invincable (Swiss O week, Pentland VHIs, Liverpool urban, CSC apart from Clive.... . I'm so far from that now, it's like a long dream I had. A great dream!
Happy New Year all.

(sick) (rest day)
GREAT UPDATE: Spent New years eve 11:30 - 2:15am driving back to Bristol due to a leak from my flat into the flat below - as two months ago - assumed it was the tap exploding again. (the water pressure to the building is known to be high: it should be 1-5, it's actually 8).
In fact to my relief it wasn't the taps exploding (let's enjoy the video again shall we? RRR? ;-)
https://youtu.be/j3kcB47pvSM ), which would have meant serious flooding again, it was "merely" a pinhole in the 3-way splitter
The saga is on FaceF**k if anyone's interested. I'm not interested in anything apart from eating & sleeping. Malham? Hmm not sure now . £40 on petrol binned. And I can't do much up there anyway.
Ticking "ill" as I'm utterly SICK of it all & beyond tired.
My NYResolution is for NOTHING REMARKABLE OR SHOCKING TO EVER HAPPEN AGAIN.
