Climbing 45:00 [2]

Trad climbing, wye valley, with Lynne. lovely day, 40 min walk in & out. from tintern abbey (non locked down now).

only 3 routes: lynne took over an hour on the final route (I seconded it in 8 minutes..... sigh....) & then insisted on leaving even tho it was only 5:30pm & the evening was looking lovely & perfect for climbing. Boring. Waste.....

8 hours door to door ...... for 3 routes.... I led *just* the one. First world problem.

First run for 12 days. If you can call it that. Super easy short jog.

Felt fine afterwards, hope (assume??? surely) there's no reaction.

Brain totally clear today. Good. (you start worrying about this condition if you rest and you STILL get brain fog......)

Another good day with almost no symptoms - fine. Tempted to run for just 10-12 minutes, but, no, I'd like to have a decent Saturday - as the past two have been continuously unpleasant.

Felt fine all day. Another win.

Cycle to & from avon gorge (Leigh woods quarry no 3) on Liz's bike with rucsack on back with climbing gear in. Aerobic? bothered.

Sport climbing, Avon gorge quarry no 3, south side (1st time there), with Steve, first time with him this decade.

Nice. 6 routes, a warmup at grade 4, then all 6a & one 6a+. Bottled the two-pitch 6a & seconded both pitches. Led the final route as well as a beta-flash of the 6a+. A really good afternoon out ; head not 100% today but let's see if anything worsens (cycling in was slightly sweaty too).

Steve *is* the man to climb with! Always works.

Knee hurts, & I don't even care...

edit: feel 100% today. Amazing to feel well; makes you realise how off colour you've felt for so long, but were trying to "shrug it off".

Feeling well = the goal.

Not "Oh, I'll do the UsynligO Brown course, & it's fine if I feel a bit rotten for 3 days, cos I did the fastest time & was under 8 mins/km".
