Note
(sick) (rest day)

Some improvement, but still tired / some brain fog. Oh dear.

Managed a nice 50min walk in "sun" later. https://www.strava.com/activities/4375245953

Relaxed again, back on sofa. Making my huge Spitfire, this is a good lockdown hobby for a tired/burned out Phil.

Back to bed after breakfast (with saturday papers). Brain not good!

More sofa action in afternoon.

Oh dear.

Note
(sick) (rest day)

Had hoped to run easily in afternoon.

Found myself asleep on sofa instead. Wiped out. Weird.

Climbing (Trad) 1:00:00 [4]

A bit too cold for hard hard trad climbing in Avon gorge, with Ed Hastings again (!) https://www.headonout.co.uk/

3 routes, 4 pitches, led none, sadly, last route E2 5c, I sat on rope 3 times, couldnt' feel fingers.

Great to get out of course, but really pushing it now...... it's winter/ cold. Boooo.

Running 30:16 [3] 6.44 km (4:42 / km) +86m 4:24 / km
ahr:138 max:179 shoes: Brooks Ravenna 10

Steady 4 miles, eastville park, snuff mills, as walk on sunday then extra mile at the end.

HR low to ridiculous for first few km. then it spikes hugely & I go from zone 2 to zone 4. When I buy a chest strap, i will look into this, but it could be that my body doesn't like runs of longer than 30 mins....... oh dear.

Running 19:04 [5] 4.99 km (3:49 / km) +20m 3:45 / km
ahr:150 max:173 shoes: adizero adios 4

5km time trial, flat out, started down a slope then up a "hill", then flat. Slopes proved quite tiring in the end. It's ok for a 10 miler, not a 5km at sub 3:50 pace.

breeze on way back & some light drizzle. Final slope proved too much & I folded up & failed to break 19 mins. But can't be too pissed off.

HR data suggests "back to the drawing board" - this was a 99% effort, I was in real distress in the final 500m, yet I was in zone 3 most of the run? Weird. I feel very well today, maybe my HR is affected by my healtth too?

Running 9:06 [1] 1.34 km (6:47 / km) +10m 6:33 / km
shoes: adizero adios 4

Warm down - started as walking. HR dropping, i guess. all very strange.
(HR dropped from km 3 to 5 in the TT - yet i was blowing up. )
