We went to a festival saturday night and i danced like 3 hours straight in 100 degrees. it was a good workout thats for sure

I did it!! 10K time trial on my treadmill at home as it was 103 degrees outside. I warmed up 14 minutes at 1.6 miles. then started at 7:04 pace first mile and then 6:59 next mile then 6:54 and stayed there for 1 mile, started to feel really really hot like not okay. Realized i had shut off my AC because it was too cold last night!! Stopped, ran to AC, and it was off and 85 in my house! turned on to 70 and ran back started up again. Ran at 6:59 pace for a mile then back to 6:54 as it cooled down. At 0.8 miles left, every 0.1 i increased my speed and did 6 pace last 0.25 / lap! so i ran in 42 minutes! So happy! It's NOT a PR but good I think for not running a 10K in years. I bet if it wasn't so hot I could have done 6:55 pace or less the whole time. cooled down like 2 minutes then walked.

ok after a bad weekend of period pain, i'm back. i feel ready to go. motivated again. I didn't know where to start so i decided to do a ladder and see how hard various paces might feel. started at 15 min mile pace and every 1 minute increased by 1 click. some where a little longer like 1:30 minutes. I got to 7 pace and increased every 30 sec to 1 min up to 6 min pace. that felt like a sprint. i could go faster but thought better not over do it. and i couldn't go faster my much on the treadmill. cooled down 5 minutes. felt really good to run again.
