Wow I felt tired last night. I slept 12 hours straight. It took me a while to warm up. 2K in 15 minutes. then got off treadmill and did leg swings and some drills I used to do in college like high knee run, butt kicks, carioke, skips etc. then started my work out. I did 6 x 1 K at some tempo pace (treadmill said 4:30 min/km which I think is about 7.25 min/mile?) with 1 minute easy in between. The next hour I ran 12K total. so I ended up doing 14K in 75 minutes. stretched 15 minutes after. I was drenched again! this humidity was only 48% and the gym was not well ACd. It was but not like the states i feel like.

omg super jet lag tired. I got in late monday night and tuesday really tried to work out. I slugged through 3 miles and then did weights. it was tough but i knew Wednesday I'd be off lecturing all day at conference.

I left LAX at 1AM Saturday night and got into Taipei Taiwan at 5:30AM Monday there time. Obviously it was sunday so did this run day after long run 3. Went hotel and did best I could for this second long run. OMG it was so hot in gym. Temp outside was 104 and 60% humidity. After 45 minutes I was drenched like I had swam in a pool! It was km so I don't know how fast I was going to start but ended up doing 5 min/km? I think. I was tired and brain was not wanting to do much math. I started cramping my calves and left quad. I was dehydrated and had no electrolytes. the gym sold water and COKE!!! so I made it to 1 hour 40 minutes and I think 18K-19K. geez. interesting weekend of runs but i feel like still beneficial. yes?
