Run (run 2) 2:01:00 [3] 14.0 mi (8:39 / mi)
slept:9.0 weight:119lbs shoes: Purple Brookes PC6

Felt great today! So happy I slept and yogi is okay. I feel like I"m back on track. I am not traveling much at all this winter so I can get all my training in. My piriformis didn't bother me today. massage helped.
4 PM

Pilates (Hot pilates/yoga) 1:00:00 [3]

The class was actually a really nice mix of yoga, balance, core/pilates and squats. In a hot room, which got me thinking, since Canyons will be hot, I'm going to do all my strength work outs in a hot room so i'll likely do these classes and my strength workouts outside when it's hot. what do you think?

yoga & core 2:00:00 [3]

My baby yogi is getting a tumor removal today, and I didn't realize how much it was going to affect me. I couldn't sleep again last night well. I did core, yoga and went for another 2 hour massage and had my piriformis worked on. Will do run 2 tomorrow and run 3 sunday. I'm taking a sleeping pill so this doesn't happen a third night.

Run (Run 3) 1:12:00 [4] 8.5 mi (8:28 / mi)
slept:6.0 weight:118lbs shoes: Purple Brookes PC6

I didn't realize how confused I was about this workout until I was doing it. I wasn't sure it was 3 total hill progressions or three. I didn't sleep well the night before so my confusion may have been just feeling tired. After 2 sets of hills (8:49 pace getting up to 9% and finishing out 2 minutes each time), I felt tired so decided to start the 20 minute tempo which didn't go well. I did the 2 minutes easy and then ramped up to 7:10 and felt like I just could not do it. it was too fast. I did one minute then went easy and thought maybe i need to warm up to 7:10 pace so started again at 7:30 and worked up every minute to 7:10 and again it just felt too hard. that was 5 minutes of tempo I felt so just kept doing that until I had got 20 minutes total at 7:19 pace or faster. Most of the tempo was 7:14-7:19. oh well...then i walked a mile after and just let it be. Also i think i have a little piriformis syndrome. it's not that painful but i'll feel a right lower gluteal spasm and my hamstring will literally not fire for a second or part of it doesn't. it's really weird when it happens. it happened 2x while doing tempo part. i continued and my breaks for 30-60 seconds were not due to it but i wanted to mention it.
