X-Country skiing 1:30:00 [3]
The Nordic Centre with a friend. I took Amik with me, as it was supposed to be a short ski, about 30 minutes. Amik was playing close to the lodge while we headed out towards the meadow. We took a detour at some point and ended up on the lower trails then tried to find our way back to the meadow. It was a beautiful night to ski, with a light snow falling and the trail illuminated by our headlamps. Unfortunately, I was not enjoying it as much as I was worried about Amik....we eventually found our way back to the lodge where Amik was happily playing with his sled....phew! He even managed to get a short ride with park's staff on a snowmobile! Lucky kid:)
Felt great to be back on skis again!
