Took a little time for myself and went on one of my favourite trails, up to Grassi Lakes. Saw a mother owl and her chicks perched high up on the rock wall - pretty cool! I hiked all the way to the Spray Lakes road and run down on my new favourite downhill trail, The Reclaimer, which I had all to myself. Great run with plenty of stops to enjoy the views and the forest.
Took Amik and his friend for a spin. We took Loki to Quarry Lake, played there for a bit and rode to Nordin Centre to check out if the skills' park has been completed. Then took the road back home.

A rare occurance when I had the gym almost all to myself!

Super fun, single track biking trail down - The Reclaimer, rated as 'very hard'. Technical, steep, lots of slippery rocks and roots. I would not attempt it on my bike but awesome for running.
Ride back to Canmore from work. This time I had the tailwind most of the way. At the park's gates there is a sign about a problem bear in the area...luckily I didn't see it but one of our patients told me he saw a grizzly there on Monday. The bear didn't run away when he saw the guy and actually started walking towards him. Note to self: carry bear spray within reach and not at the bottom of the pack...
Trail Culture run. My legs are still pretty tired from the Ha Ling hike. Had a fall today, pretty spectacular in fact...I guess I've been watching too much parkour because my fellow runners were impressed with my shoulder roll:)
