Trail running 1:15:00 [3]
shoes: Salomon S-Lab Sense 4 Ultra SG

A bit of an adventure today, with the Trail Culture. We split into three groups, I was keen on sticking with the middle one. Lyen and I were running together, at the back but the group was pretty fast and we lost them at one of the junctions. So, we decided to do our own thing. Eventually, we connected again and run together the rest of the way. Some new trails for mer, great views and awesome single track.

A little girl was showing me the moves today...I guess she saw me struggling and decided I need some help:)

Biking (Bike Path) 2:00:00 [3]

Amik went to Calgary with friends, for some birthday fun so I thought I would ride to Banff and back. Of course, I encountered a strong headwind on my way, with some dark clouds forming above Banff. I stopped at the picnic area to weigh in my options. I didn't bring much rain gear, just a light jacket so I decided to turn around. Awesome tailwind on the way back, got pretty cold though but luckily I was close to home.

Trail running 1:30:00 [3]

Morning run with the Trail Culture on the Montane Trail. Yet again, I was not feeling super strong, was lacking energy and my legs felt heavy. Most of the group wanted to make it a longer run but I had to go home to Amik, so I turned back before we reached Harvie Heights. Matt run back with me, we encountered the very famous now and angry grouse - we did a little bushwacking to avoid the confrontation, as it stood it's ground in the middle of the trail - funny bird:)
