Trail running 1:19:02 [3] 9.69 km (8:09 / km) +282m 7:07 / km
shoes: Salomon S-Lab Sense 4 Ultra SG

Evening run with the Trail Culture. I joined the middle group, Carbon had my back the whole time, which was a huge mental help;) Even though it was said the group will be 'slow and steady', I had to work hard to keep up.
Fun run and fun trail on a beautiful evening.
(Thank you Carbon, for threatening me with that whip the whole time, made me go a little faster;)

Note

Volunteering at the Banff Marathon - was planning for a short shift to help a friend but it turned out to be a weekend long commitment and me being 'promoted' to an aid station captain (too much responsibility for my liking). Started on Friday, when I picked up a rental car. On Saturday, had to drive to Banff to load the car with aid station stuff. Our shift started in Sunday at 6:45am(!) and we got home around 6pm.....a very loooong day! Amik was a trooper, helped as much as he could and stayed cheerful the whole time, despite the rain and the cold. I think my volunteering days are numbered...it's exhausting!

Nice and easy run with Carbon along the Bow River, while Amik was at parkour.

Trail running 1:10:00 [4]
shoes: Salomon S-Lab Sense 4 Ultra SG

Dirtbag run at the Nordic Centre. Today, there was a rep from the compression stockings company so we got to try them. I am not sure if one was supposed to feel any difference after one run. They felt ok, a bit warm, I wouldn't wear them on a hot day.
We did Fartlek intervals, 1 loop easy as a warm up, then medium short and hard uphill, hard long downhill and easier jog back to the start - 3 repeats.
