Gorgeous day, so I dragged Amik up EEOR. I really like this hike as it's not too popular, with most people going up Ha Ling, leaving the EEOR trail almost empty. And the views are spectacular. Lots of work to convince Amik to keep going: "yes, your legs hurt but it's a good pain", "not, it's not scary at the top, you've done steeper scrambles", "It will only take us hours to get to the top if we continue on at this pace", "I don't think your tummy hurts since you just ate candy"....etc, etc....:) He was really happy once he could see the top within reach and very chatty on the way down.

Trail Culture run at the Nordic Centre. Large group again, fun run in hot conditions. As we were chatting away at the parking lot, at the end of the run, a black bear casually walked out of the forest where we run earlier, crossed the road and started munching on the leaves - so cool!
