Dirtbag run in heavy and wet snow! I thought no one would show up but surprisingly there are quite few of us who like to suffer in weather like this!
Warm up
Pyramid intervals: 60sec flat + 30sec up + 60sec rest (easy jog) / 90sec flat + 45sec up + 90sec rest (easy jog) / 2min flat + 1min up + 2min rest (easy jog) /
then 2min, 90sec and 60sec.
Oh, but we weren't done! A cherry on top of this cake was running all the way up Spray Lakes Rd......CO was very encouraging as he passed me, and I did my best to run all the way, but couldn't. I did few short walking breaks.
Once everyone reached the top, the boys turned back and run down to join me - a very nice escort :) That hill is brutal! I have to learn to love it....or at least not hate it so much.

Trail Culture run - the most dogs I've ever seen on our run - maybe 8?
We had a hard time finding a trail that was ice-free. We did some out and backs, climbed some steep escarpments and run on mud.

An easy run after work, did the river loop in Canmore. Trail mostly free of ice, some slushy sections.
I skipped the run on Sun as I fell on my 'cursed' knee during the Saturday's run (stupid ice!) and it really hurt yesterday. Today felt mostly fine;)

Nice and easy run in the gorgeous sunshine! I stuck to the paved path and road as the trails are super icy.
