This was a tough one, possibly the toughest I've ever done. It wasn't because of the distance or the navigational challenge so much as it was because of the snow. Much of the area in the park was covered with snow that was 4-6 inches deep. The snow made it easier to see where other orienteers had gone, which helped with navigation but the snow also made it much more physically challenging. I was completely worn out when I finally finished.
