The harvest is well under way now. I estimate abut 1/3 of the crop is off to market. It’s been interesting to watch the different approaches the farmers use. Most of them clear the fields in big long blocks. Some harvest straight to boxes spread across the field. Others just pile the veggies on a trailer and organize it back at their buildings.
It was an easy back oven out there today. I opted for a shorter route since I was out at high noon.
