First in my fall series of longer ride pace experiments. Doing 5km intervals with higher average heart rate (145-150) interspersed with previous steady state heart rate (130). The plan is to see how long that is sustainable and how frequently I need the lower heart rate in order to increase the effective average.
This is my mission until the end of this years riding season, so the next 3 months or so.
