Note

Cross bike swapped to road tires - including the delay of snapping a valve stem in half.
Then packed for a flight to California - too bad I have to wait 10 days for the plane.

Chilly and windy, but there was sun so I slipped out on the cross bike to try out the new seat and switching to road tires before a trip to California.
The Fizik snake sits a bit higher than the stock seat, so I'll need to lower it a few mm - then I'll sort out the for-aft position.
I really like the grip of the cross tires on iffy roads, but need the smooth rubber to have any chance of keeping triathlon girl in sight in the desert.

I was promised warm and dry, but got the opposite, so trainer hills.
If was very challenging to force a day off of cardio yesterday, but the heart rate today suggests it was a good choice.
