Respiration seemed to be the limiting factor today - likely the accumulation of allergies to fall grasses. Very quite out this morning. And foggy for the first half hour.

A quick test run after cleaning the dessert off of it and patching the flat, which looks suspiciously like a pinch at the valve when it was installed.

I hadn't put compression on so it was interesting to see how quickly my calf started to swell even riding easy.

Note

Loaded the GPS for the last few rides. It was interesting to see how much the river curved on the 8th. The trail felt mostly straight. No wonder it was disorienting to cross streets at unexpected times.

The plan for this morning was to put together a loop of about 20km. It was 32C to start out and quite windy making it a bit more work than previous rides. I do think the heart rate is more a reflection of nutrition/hydration than actual work.

I took a wrong turn at the golf course, but found some shops Mrs would like and some cool artwork. Then the signage at Pima Trail caught me off guard, but I paused to pump up my rear tire and decided to go the opposite direction of the sign, which got me on track for the loop I had in mind. The Pima Trail was bike friendly, but not very interesting just going beside the highway.
