A long day at Habitat trying to keep 7 U of T students busy when I was short of materials. I found small things for them to do in four different houses while I scavenged 2x6 studs. I got a full supply at 2:40, so we tried to make some progress on the last big 2nd floor wall using some of the components we had built earlier in the day.

2 sets of 20 x 15 sec top of VO2max (250 watts), 15 sec recovery
A couple bonus intervals at the end. It took the first set to get my heart rate up. It leveled off in the second set.

This was a nice compact workout. Perfect to sneak in after a day of running around.

Sufferfest: the wretched

35 minute race. Flat start. 3 climbs with no hint of how long they were. Flat finish. Any recovery during the race was at 180-190 watts. I as a bit surprised to find I recovered a bit at that. I have learned that I can’t easily drink on the Bacchetta at 200+ watts though.
