Zwift volcano flat pace group

Just stuck with the group today, varying cadence only to match the pace. Only exception being when my trainer computer crashed and I had to stop to get rid of a falafel start when it was back in order. Then I had to ride FTP power a bit to catch back up to the group.

Solo today to work on higher power. I felt pretty good running my heart about 10pm higher throughout.

I should have burned enough calories to have an extra piece of pizza tonight - first order from the truck since September

I finished the course this time with 8 minutes to spare...and took less than 100 shots to do it. Just a hint of a fade on the driver some of the time.

I noticed a neighbour waiting for a bay as I was setting up. He felt it was very important to tell me he played 108 rounds last year.

Stuck with the group except for route sprints. I set a PB each time. The heart spikes show them - 6 I think.

Pretty happy with the steady heart rate over a longer ride.

Every 5km I did a power burst, then cruised until the group caught back up. It was kind of fun to watch the group fade in my dust.
