Note

I opted to put some things in order rather than go for a chunk of fitness after a good long sleep.

Made it through everything on Mrs desk (I know, long ignored). Got the bikes all where they belong. Made some donations. Got the main yard mowed. Ordered another pair of power pedals because I’m getting too lazy to swap one pair between bikes.

It took a long time for my heart rate to drop last night I attribute it to so much time using my legs.

I wore a simple wrap on my knee rather than fight my way into the brace tights. I think I will try something different over the course of the summer.

Royal Stouffville

I thought I would try the Spark league. This used to be Maples of Ballantrye. It’s still a very nice course, but longer than I typically play these days.

Near the end, the father of the father and son pair I was with said “you were out drove by a senior”. I said “ well, I am 68”. He looked slightly puzzled, then said “ if we play again, we should use the senior tees. I don’t like to be the the only one”.

Most of my shots were pretty good. Nic+outing, but it got cold finishing close to 8pm.

Round one of the medical catch up went well.
My source for custom compression retired, so I had to find someone new. They insisted on new measurements, but agreed to reorder my previous size because it works well.

She wanted her measurements as a reference if something needs to be changed in the future. She said when the manufacturer releases my old ones, she will send me both.

Magna indoor

Rain day had some of the morning group decide to book the indoor courts for the afternoon. There were a number of advanced players there so more velocity on the ball and a trajectory much closer to the net. I had to stay much more alert to keep the ball in play.

About 5 minutes between games. Oura said my longest game was 21 minutes - definitely on the long side.
