When I got home I noticed I can see the front of my ribs below my collar bone above my chest.
So I don't think there is really any weight to shed pre race season.

Firstly, this was a mentally challenging day. I did not want to get out of bed. At all. I had plans to link up for bits of the ride with a few people so it wasn't 4hrs totally alone and they all bailed.

Then I got out and just got hammered by wind.
The first 30k of primarily straight west was punishing and super fucking slow.

So I pulled the shoot on my originally big route plan (home to Bragg to Cochran to north end of Calgary for lunch) and headed north on 22 toward Cochran.
The crosswind tossed me regularly tossed me about a foot but at least while I was moving north it was into the shoulder not into traffic.
Tailwind after the Cochran climb. YAY!

Ride with Kara and Kendra

Loads of fun.
Kept it light on the way out. Taught kara how to ride a 3 person rotation.

Had some fun little attacks on each other.
Overall feel was good easy with a bit of strategically timed sauce.
