Cycling intervals (Cadence block 2) 1:30:00 [4]
rhr:53 slept:7.75

For the first time in almost a year by a training block

Little ring 2min holds were easy
Big ring shattered me after 1 and there were 4

Had legs back for 10sec as fast as you can for both little ring efforts and Big ring efforts.

I guess this means I’m going to get longer holds in my spin pyramids or gear ratios to move my way up to bigger gear efforts. Kilo gear to go faster, same cadence, bigger gear. Giddy up.

Cycling intervals (Spin pyramids ) 2:00:00 [3]
ahr:131 max:180 slept:7.2

Long warm up and cool down
6x pyramids up to 130
Nothing leg 120 ripping your legs off then bringing it up to 130 for a minute and controlled back down to 120 for another minute.

I noticed part way in my saddle was slightly crooked, that bit me in the ass by the end of the workout.
Pun 100% intended.

I continue to feel this week is a test.

Cycling intervals (Mystery box) 2:00:00 [3]

First official riding block with coach Phil done.

Long warm up then 6x 5min at mystery watts + 5min easy

Played around with body position on saddle to test Nats “theory”
His suggested chase position for me averaged 20bpm lower.

This guy knows bike fits and attack position.

I’m feeling a sad gap of not having anywhere to log my stream of consciousness training thoughts. Phil gives me no platform where as Paul liked hearing my feels about workouts and it helped build future workouts.

So I may come back here with mystery box workouts....slash all the feels.
