Taman Pudu Ulu Parkrun - KL

Last 24 hours have been crazy!

Boarded the bus with plenty of time in Phnom Penh for the airport, said to the driver 'airport' and he nodded his head a few times. After 15 minutes my inner compass was alarming me and a quick check of google maps showed we were heading completely the wrong way, by this point we were at the bus depot and the driver starts making eating signs to me pointing to the clock 1 hour. Luckily there was another bus just about to leave so boarder that. Back to the city with an hour until check in shuts. From here to the airport was complete gridlock taking about 90 minutes, sitting on the bus thinking we had missed out flight. The last 500m was mega gridlock so we jumped out the bus and ran down the traffic through the motorway with our bags and then had to cross the opposite side of the motorway (Bashir style, hand out to the moving traffic forcing them to slow down) to get to the terminal. 45 minutes before take off but for some reason they were still checking bags in and we made it through security all to my amazement and took off on time!!! Better still our bags were even in Kuala Lumpur!

Further drama on the trains, losing an hour time difference and we arrived about 12 before some noodles and bed at 1. 7.30 start due to the humidity so pretty knackered and no time to stretch due to yesterdays dramas/delays and late night curry!! A nice parkrun through featuring laps of a small park, many people dancing/stretching through the park and lots of people jogging/walking/waddling all over the course!! What an experience.
