Worked 'til 10pm then picked daughter up and went to bed. Nice breakfast with family. Got to race 1/2 hr before start and Jan dropped off Thea and I to park. Tons of people in a small area. Jogger didn't help and poor directions to get race stuff. Turned around to put stuff in jogger and Thea was gone!!!! Searched frantically for 10 minutes and couldn't find her asked lady on megaphone and a few people to help finally in desparation went to race announcer 4 minutes before start and he announced it. About 20 seconds later she comes skipping down the course with Tiger-cat mascot TC in hand...:( Race started as I was still putting her in but, I didn't fall too behind b/c it was slow outta the gate. Never got my chip so I won't be officially in the race. Race was 1K flat 4K down escarpment turn-around up the escarpment for 4K and 1K flat to finish. Reached a new MaxHR pushing 150lbs up the hill! Thea and I enjoyed it despite the hectic warm-up...now back to work - groan.

Note

Too much work and not enough sleep so, I'm thinking the 1/2 is out right now. Even though I feel like I can do it...
