Hamilton Duathlon... Terrible wind (up to 70KPH) and cold and a bit of rain.. oh yeah and a one point ice pellets. Did I mentinon it was... WINDY!!!

Great start to the race.. NOT! Bought new tieless lases. Well some guy step on my heel and my shoe came off. I had to run against the grain as people kicked and stepped on it around. :(

Leaned to the left a lot not to get blown over... 10 times worse winds than Victoria's!!!

Feet were numb from cold coming off bike. I almost cried like a baby starting up hill against the wind. Absolutely brutal. Not an easy course at all.

Finished 74/225 and 7/21 (1:30 behind 4th) in age group. Met guys from Edmonton and New Brunswick.

Need to work on final run getting off bike and drop more weight!

10K/40K/5K and lots of hills.
