Road to Jerseyville and back @ 4:29pm. Wasn't able to negative split it b/c of the tough headwind & the fact it's a long elevation climb and the way back. Out in 29:47 and back in 33:09. Went hard at times...

Ran with Thea @ 11:03am doing a Temp 10K. Flet pretty good in the heat. Was able to run back at a good temp-oh! Feel pretty good these days - like today was able to build tempo really well as I went. Now it's off to take the oldest one to residence. Going to be weird...

Wow, had a great sleep last night - finally. Did the Technique/Recovery workout followed by 2min zone 3 and 8 min zone 4. Didn't feel too bad... was pretty thirsty at the end though. Maybe too much garlic last night.

Swimming (Endless Pool) 31:30 [2]

Swam at 8:15pm after a dinner out with family for Jemma's last meal before heading to residence. I'm excited for her but it will be different for sure without her around as much.... Felt good in the pool and produced little splash tonight.

Did the Speed/Power workout following by 3min zone3 & 10min zone 4 (80-90rpms) @ 5:45am. Pushed hard again despite being awake for hours before. Thinking too much... stupid brain.

Jan dropped Thea and I off across from the Library where the Jogger was waiting for us. Ran to Jerseyville down then up the Lions Club pool and caught up with the usual route. Did a bit in the side streets then headed back along familiar territory... felt good. Hill took a bit of the jump outta me so not as fast as Tues.

Swam @ 8:15pm quite comfortably... no real struggle. Felt good thoughout the swim. Nice and easy. A bit of splash though.

Awake from 1:30am-3:00am...dumb. Did the Tempo/TT workout at 5:50am and it hurt b/c I went hard. Did a zone 3/4 steady-state for 10min to finish. Recovery of 35 beats in 1 min.

Thea and I left at 6:03pm after dinner. Nice tempo run. Definitely negative split it although I forgot to lap it in time. Good temperature and nice pace. Felt good....

Back a bit sore again this morning... weird. Will keep stretching it out. Don't feel beat up after two tough weeks. Not sure if I pushed hard enough. I'm not injured so I'm not complaining.
