Planned 120K but weather wouldn't co-operate. First 2:15 were great. Then the winds and rain picked up and things turned nasty. I was miserable for the last hour. Couldn't feel my legs from the knee down and when I couldn't feel my hands anymore, I thought I'd better head in. This meant 1/2 hr of scary riding. Heavy cold wind and poor steering...

I was happy to get back safe but thawing my hands and feet hurt a lot - ouch. Ave. temp 9.6 degrees - wind chill made it much worse.

Started @ 9:31AM. Wind and cool. Ave. cadence: 73rpms.

The booties and gloves were good when it was dry.

Wasn't happy I couldn't go the distance. Legs could have done it. Will add 10K next week and go 150K to make up for it. Bad May weather - shite

Ran in the light rain @ 7:46... felt light on the feet after a couple of tough runs with Thea. Felt great... noticed a negative split it.

Ran @ 4:55PM with the Theameister. A mighty wind, especially on the hard hills. Wind on the way back so, no negative split. Tougher with the extra weight but nice to know I did it and had the company.
