went out to do my normal brick route..felt decent.. while getting to the bottom of the hill.. heard a bit of breaking brush.. big ass bear about 20 yards out.. not really going away.. went back to the trailhead.. did some fartlek action.. stopped a few times to be sure i was not being hunted.. but mr bear just wanted his space.. good encounter
