Gravel route with bike loaded for overnight camping trip with Chuck, Eric, Lo, Alice, and Jessie. Excited to find out that riding a loaded bike is basically like riding an unloaded bike. Hills are hard, but they're hard without camping gear too. Happy with my choice of bike and gear for the day.
Handlebar roll: ground cloth (plastic painter's drop cloth), bivvy, 2 MH meals, puffy jacket, rain jacket, l/s shirt and tights for sleeping, tank & shorts for sitting around camp, socks.

My small Osprey pack: 100 oz water, spare tube and bike tools, food for during the ride, cup for at camp, Steripen for water purification, toothbrush & paste, contact case & spare contacts.
