Berryman with Mickey, Eric, and Trevor clockwise from Brazil Creek. About 37 when we started and never really warmed up, but about perfect for riding. Didn't feel awesome on uphills but felt way more confident than normal on flats and downhills. Working on carrying more speed and riding more smoothly instead of so much braking. Broke a spoke a couple miles from the OT turn-off, and went through 3 tubes before we had a good one. So annoying. With all the time lost, we decided to cut the ride short instead of planned addition to Bass. My rear tire had way too much air and was bouncing all over the place, and I ended up with a stupid crash on rocks. Just some bruises, but between the long flat break in the cold and then falling I was pretty much over the bike. If we'd had more time to play with I think I'd have snapped out of it.
Tights over shorts, 1 pr wool socks, fleece hat, knit gloves over bike gloves. Started with thin base layer, l/s shirt, and light jacket. Quickly dropped l/s shirt and then I was dressed perfectly (until I stood around for an hour during the flat fiasco).
Ran into a Red Wheel bunch, Maria and Annie, and a Momentum group. Fun day!
