Home from Jacob's soccer game. Nice, cool morning and overall felt really good, even from the beginning. My longest run in a really long time.

Short run with dog. Lovely cool weather. Pushed the pace for the last half mile and was met with resistance from my running partner.

Running (Commute to soccer) 52:31 [3] 4.1 mi (12:49 / mi)
ahr:128 max:177 rhr:48 shoes: Brooks Glycerine

Ran from near home to Jacob's soccer game. Thought it would be easy to hop onto the nature trail from the road, but that necessitated more bushwhacking than I wanted, so I cut across the HS field, only to find myself caught behind a fence I had to crawl under. More adventure than anticipated for a short in-town run.

The first mile or so of "running" (lots of walking in there) felt pretty awful, but then I felt good. And other than being super slow-er, I feel awesome post-race.
