Orienteering (Babler) 2:58:00 [3] 7.0 mi (25:26 / mi)
ahr:116 max:157 shoes: Brooks Caldera

Babler red course with Bob! Cold but plenty of clothes as long as we were out of the wind. Despite not having looked at a topo map since September I felt super confident and that was borne out by our nav. Only one bobble when Bob spotted a bag in the vicinity of our CP11. I even said, "I thought it was going to be a lot further down than that" before punched it and then realizing it was the wrong code.

Even taking things at a pretty easy hiking pace and stopping to talk about where to go next we came in under the 3-hour limit, which was miraculous considering our pace and the fact that I only had a general idea of when we started.
6 PM

Walking 23:50 [3] 1.5 mi (15:53 / mi)
ahr:127 max:151

...and then after being out in the cold for the o meet I still had to go out for my runbet distance since our hiking pace was too slow to count.
