Saturday Feb 1 #

3 PM

Biking 1:48:35 [3] 25.2 mi (13.9 mph) +397ft
shoes: 2019 Salsa Fargo

MCT/rural road combo. 40ish degrees and breezy. Wool baselayer under windstopper jacket would have been overkill if I’d had to do any real climbing but felt right for this ride. Fasterkatts and wool socks meant feet way warmer than last ride.

2 PM

Biking (Outside!) 2:03:50 [3] 29.7 mi (14.4 mph)
ahr:131 max:152 shoes: 2019 Salsa Fargo

MCT Horseshoe Lake loop

About 41 at the start, a little chilly until 10 min in, then pretty comfortable until the second hour. By the end hands and toes were pretty numb.

Fleece hat, stretchy gloves, thin l/s baselayer under Gore jacket, shorts under UA tights, thin smartwood socks, orange Giro shoes. Def. not enough for falling temps in longer time out.
7 PM

Walking 28:34 [2] 2.0 mi (14:17 / mi)
