I cried a little this morning before getting picked up, both ready to go home and also really sad it was going to be my last day. Regrets continued on the drive up Mt. Magazine, because I started thinking I could have made most of it, even with the SS. We (park ranger who was riding with me for a bit) were dropped off at the first overlook, and there was a little bit of gentle uphill from there which helped ease my regrets on the car ride up.

SUPER fun section to ride. Almost all downhill, great gravel, so scenic, and I felt good. Thinking back to last year’s race, it was a great section to ride following my breakdown bc it was pretty easy and a good place to recover and feel better about myself.

The last 15 miles was hwy to Dardanelle and not hard but also pretty boring and helped take a little sting out of being done.
