Run warm up/down 10:00 [1]
Orienteer race 1:11:00 [4]
Nice atmosphere and map. 11+ minutes of mistakes :/. I could live with a couple of the 1-2 min. ones but there was one huge 7.5 min mistake on the 7th control that was really avoidable. I had drifted right but was dead sure I must be near. I noticed a control but didn't check it since it was on the wrong feature. Well if I had paid attention I would have noticed it was my next control. That would have kept the mistake at 1-2 minutes. Oh well. Otherwise it felt easy to keep map contact and I enjoyed myself. A bit of zig-zagging going on but that will go away as I race more. Still feel physically bad, like running in slow motion. Need to see a doctor soon and see what has been causing this the last 2 weeks.

Thursday Apr 24

Run warm up/down 12:00 [1]
Orienteer (kuntorasti) 45:00 [3]
B course to save legs for the weekend. First time I was ever DSQ with EMIT in 3 years when I am sure I punched every control, maybe the last one too casually...? No matter.

Wednesday Apr 23

Run warm up/down 25:00 [1]
Orienteer 50:00 [3]
AV/Terä Tiomila practice. 1:6900 map scale because...well just because they are going to Sweden.

Monday Apr 21

Run (road) 51:00 [2]
am: never mind speed work, the most I can manage after the stresses of the last week.

Sunday Apr 20

Run (w/Chariot) 2:00:00 [1]
PM Pushed a sleeping kid in the Chariot at easy pace.
Note
Aamulla (1.30) se tuli: pikkuinen reipas tyttö! Syntynys oli nopea ja helpo. Nyt Van Camp:n Venla tiimi on juuri valmis.
