Note

Stonehurst Long Lunch yesterday. Top day. Weather was 11 out of 10 and the vinos, food and company matched. Operating at a glacial pace today...good day for a nap, tea catch ups and groceries.

Gym 45:00 [3]

Upper body part of the routine. Didn't quite sneak in early enough to fit everything in before work.
6 PM

Gym 45:00 [3]

Back after work for the lower body + core + streeeeetch.

Note

Travelling back from site inspection at Orange. Had the bike in the car but time, wind and loathe to admit mental state wasn't favourable for a tap. Need to put equal emphasis on the riding/running side of activities!

Aside: Scrumptious on Summer Cafe, Orange is a gem.

Gym 1:00:00 [3]

An abbreviated gym sesh at the uni before heading off to Orange. Extended upper body, skipped lower to give the legs a rest and some core. Unreal to have some spotting and encouragement for the pull ups. Going to utilise an elastic band for a bit to help get that last bit.

Chauffed that I pulled the finger out to get this done. Would have been easy to skip.

Tap from work to Lochend to help Mother prep the place for the new carpet. Headwind the entire way but sensational night to be out for a tap. Could certainly feel the left knee which wasn't ideal and sure enough as soon as I stopped it seized up similar to last night ruling out the return ride I had planned.

Absolutely beat, purely from a sleep point of view too. Will make a conscientious effort to hit the 8hr mark for zzz's.

Salmon steak with pecan, rocket and pear salad on a bed of basil pumpkin was worth the jaunt alone!

Week 2. Getting it done.
6 PM

Run 30:00 [3] 5.0 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Saucony Cortana 4

WIth the old man. Interested to see how the knee was going to hold up. Could feel it whilst running but didn't inhibit per say. As soon as I stopped though I was in grief. Ice, ibuprofen and a lot of stretching to try and see it through. Miffed, cause I was enjoying having some running k's in the activity log
