Orienteering race (2013 DuO 3) 4:26:17 [3] *** 40.7 km (6:33 / km) +820m 5:57 / km
spiked:20/30c shoes: Jalas X20

Run 1: 4.7km, 160m ascent, 45:28
MTBO 1: 13.6km, 293m ascent, 1:11:46
Run 2: 5.5km, 154m ascent, 1:12:47
MTBO 2: 14.9km, 176 ascent, 1:04:06
Run/ Bike: 2km, 46m ascent, 14:06

Had some problem with the last control on the first run, I was looking for it in the wrong bend of the track. Had a huge mistake in the second run at #10. It took me 23 minutes to traverse the 350m leg. :( This greatly affected my morale... Though the "white" forest was rather a mid green one, and to find a 1.5m cliff in the 2m high bush can be tantalising...

Orienteering race (2013 SSS 24) 44:20 [3] * 8.02 km (5:32 / km) +114m 5:10 / km
spiked:20/20c shoes: Merrell Sonic Glove

Felt weak at the beginning, but kept going and powered through to the end of the race. Collected 440 points and came in half a minute early - perfect. Didn't have any major problems with any of the controls, although again it was a street course.

Running warm up/down 3:26 [3] 0.44 km (7:48 / km)

Orienteering race (2013 SS 08) 19:23 [3] ** 3.4 km (5:42 / km) +74m 5:08 / km
spiked:12/15c shoes: Inov8 Roclite 285

Had a good run again around the streets of Birchgrove. The only problems were at #10, 11 and 14. The 1:3000 map was a bit odd, everything was so close. Because of this I ran past some checkpoints. The new shoes still need some breaking in, they still slowed me down a bit towards the end.
