Note
(rest day)

Saturday Sep 2 #

11 AM

Running (Goat Creek Pass) 1:19:50 intensity: (17:23 @0) + (27:22 @1) + (38 @2) + (34:27 @3) 13.21 km (6:03 / km) +331m 5:22 / km
ahr:83 max:162

Running with Danny, could sort of feel my foot from the beginning of the run and at 13km I thought it was a good idea to walk.

Hiking 1:16:26 intensity: (29:50 @0) + (34 @1) + (46:02 @3) 5.79 km (13:12 / km) +168m 11:32 / km
ahr:57 max:116

Walking the last 5 km because I could feel the bottom of my foot with every step and ran out of alternate positions to land it.

Friday Sep 1 #

12 PM

Hiking 1:30:00 [0] 9.0 km (10:00 / km) +330m 8:27 / km
(rest day)

Hiked with everyone to Elephant rocks, didn't realize there it was so far and so much climb. :|

Thursday Aug 31 #

8 AM

Running 1:04:00 intensity: (56:05 @0) + (6:47 @1) + (1:08 @3) 11.0 km (5:49 / km) +61m 5:40 / km
ahr:82 max:156

Ohkay, started out with the UofC guys whom were going like 4:20 - 4:50 min/km, so I was doing like 5:00 at the beginning and dropped to around a 6:00 after halfway. Fairly painful by the end, if I can start the engine one more time then I'll probably get 16km, and 2 more times would be 20. Definitely taking a rest day tomorrow.
4 PM

Running 1:28:49 intensity: (29:18 @0) + (43:22 @1) + (16:09 @3) 9.0 km (9:52 / km) +167m 9:02 / km
ahr:96 max:153

Pretty much walked (jogged really carefully) being super cautious with my impact, so as to not tweak anything. Happy I got to 20km today! :D

Wednesday Aug 30 #

8 AM

Running 1:24:50 intensity: (41:31 @0) + (2:42 @1) + (40:37 @3) 11.01 km (7:42 / km) +134m 7:16 / km
ahr:61 max:147

The soreness is beginning. (as seen by change in pace) But gotta get through today and tomorrow, because after day 4 I just need to finish up which I think I can do...
11 AM

Hiking 1:23:16 intensity: (22:22 @0) + (8:01 @1) + (25 @2) + (52:28 @3) 5.92 km (14:04 / km) +765m 8:33 / km
ahr:65 max:160

Hike up Ha Ling. Decent pace up, ran pretty fast down (21:45). Holding back a bit for the rest of the week, but still pretty sore after the bottom.
5 PM

Running 18:43 intensity: (7:06 @0) + (10:10 @1) + (1:11 @2) + (16 @3) 3.04 km (6:09 / km) +28m 5:53 / km
ahr:113 max:167

Sad I couldn't go faster, but it felt fast for me. Finished up missing 3km from my 20km goal today. Really sore at the start, but as soon as the legs got moving it felt better.

Tuesday Aug 29 #

Note

Pretty out of shape physically so am just aiming for 100km or more in the next 6ish days at the University training camp, at my own pace.
1 PM

Running 1:29:14 intensity: (45:26 @0) + (4:19 @1) + (39:29 @3) 13.28 km (6:43 / km) +400m 5:50 / km
ahr:63 max:143

First run of the training camp and the "getting back into it" phase. The group (because everyone trains) dropped me probably in the first 2km and then I just puttered along at my own pace getting lost in the process. But it was fun!
6 PM

Running 46:05 [3] 7.01 km (6:35 / km) +121m 6:03 / km

Evening run, everyone (but one guy) went for 5 km, and I wanted 7 to have a total of 20 today. Actually ended up at Carrot Creek where I went climbing with Kyle last spring!
