Running warm up/down 9:29 [3] 1.45 km (6:32 / km) +51m 5:34 / km

Forest Orienteering 1:36:12 [3] *** 11.93 km (8:04 / km) +467m 6:45 / km

Map was much harder than I thought with the lower visibility. I'm really happy with the map. I would only add marshes (there was alot of those here surprisingly) and some deadfall mapping, because the forest would be white, but there would be deadfall, but its sort of everywhere here so idk.

Pretty happy with my run. A few little hooks, and wavy routes but pretty happy with it overall. I hope that Denmark is faster. I was doing like 9:00 min/km in some parts and I couldn't go much faster. I think depending on the terrain we'll see. The mock races I'll do the week will predict pretty much how I feel.

Super happy with the lidar, some of the vegetation was chopped down making the map different, but all of the contours were perfect and 90% of the vegetation was perfect.

Running warm up/down 23:00 [2] 4.3 km (5:21 / km) +39m 5:07 / km

Sprint Orienteering (Ranchlands) 14:09 [4] 3.28 km (4:19 / km) +58m 3:58 / km

Fast sprint, one big hill in the middle and technical stuff right at the beginning, felt fast in the open parts.

Last one, but this is up in the mountains:

Really looking forward to going here because of the variable terrain and probably really nice views... Who needs Switzerland with this? lol

Note

So sad when I saw there's no forest here. Its okay because there is the same type of terrain with forest just to the left. Might need to do a road trip down here sometime.... ?

12 PM

Running warm up/down 14:00 [2] 1.83 km (7:39 / km) +8m 7:29 / km

Forest Orienteering 40:00 [3] 5.1 km (7:51 / km) +131m 6:57 / km

Running 2 courses. First one was in a sketchy area where I wasn't sure if I was even at the right place. Second one was much better was going race pace and spiked basically everything. Going to rerun the 2nd one later this afternoon and try and beat my time.

Paces:
8:32 min/km
6:54 min/km

Times:
22:46
17:47

Shouldn't have gone out to the path all the way to 3.
5 PM

Running warm up/down 18:31 [2] 3.0 km (6:10 / km) +57m 5:38 / km

Forest Orienteering 15:44 [4] 2.54 km (6:12 / km) +81m 5:21 / km

Rerunning the AM course, took almost 2min off! Beat my time! so thats good.... I think rerunning is good to build this aggressive confidence to really reach that max speed.

Forest Orienteering 20:55 [3] 2.57 km (8:08 / km) +67m 7:12 / km

Taking it a bit easier, was sort of tired, and one part of the map I couldn't find a clearing with the control even though I was in the right area.
