Follow up hospital visit. A few questions re the possibility of returning to running. Sick note for two further weeks.
No attempts to run for a further three weeks. A month from the original diagnosis was the assessment. Apixaban to continue 6 months, 5mg one tablet 7am and another 7pm.
Thinking getting medical bracelets for wrist to wear when I get back running. Exercise to be simple walking building strength up and not to overdo the DVT as still in early stage.

Scan due at 9.40 this morning. Need to be there for 9.15 so I pick up facilitator batteries beforehand.

Home from scan at eleven. Took three goes to get the needle in arm. The CT scan was the full one I was expecting last Wednesday, but that was leg only and this CT the abdomen one. A bit weird and nervy. Forgot to ask about extended sick note. Results due tea time or first thing tomorrow
4 PM

Phoned by the hospital. Results clear. No clotting in organs :-)
