JHI's relays

At the start I was just thinking about my JIRCS last year when I was new to orienteering and made two 10min mistakes. So I headed off pretty much last and took it careful. Thought I was about to nail 1# however when i got to the knoll i thought it would be it wasn't there and I spent 1min looking around before I found it. After this I thought I would be out of the main group but they were going slow and I caught them by 7#. Just stuck with the pack for the rest but then I made a 30sec mistake on 16 so had to settle for 6th place back in (2nd english person).

JHI's 2nd :)

Best result I have ever had. Just took it steady because I was just aiming for 7th place, but because I wasn't running as hard I concentrated more and didn't make many mistakes while everyone else seemed to muck up. However still lost 1min on 1# because I went too far left of the hill and then couldn't find the control box when I got there. Lost time on 14# as I took a bad route then took a while to relocate. Lost time on 15# because I expected to see it along the crag wall and it was further down.
