Hi guys! Remember me? After basically burning out in 2015, I've done a couple AR's out here in California, but I really haven't focused on it and haven't done one in over 2 years now. I've been focused on outrigger canoeing. BUT, I am actually really pumped to get back to AR and do at least a couple next year and maybe even fly back to race with my old teammates.

Today, I did an 8.4 mile paddle out in the open ocean on my OC1. Found out the hard way that the new standard is meet at the #2 bouy at 8 instead of launch at 8, but someone else was leaving at 8, so we paddled together. Tried to push and surf the back sides of the swell a bit going out. Funny mixed swells on the way back, but I did manage to get some good surf runs. Good to paddle with faster people to push the pace a bit.
