From Te Whiti Park up Te Whiti Riser and back along the ridge via Avro, but took the alternative route down into the valley behind the main ridge above Naenae.
Back was sore before running and for the first 5 minutes (left sacroiliac) but then improved and was fine. Was a lot better after running than it had been before. Right calf got sore towards the end though.
Felt good physically to start with, but suddenly a bit lacking in energy after the big climb back onto the ridge. Fairly warm day though - was trying to stick to the shade whenever possible.
Te Whiti Riser turned out to be a really nice track - not surprised they took a while to make it.
