Orienteering race 58:22 [3] 10.0 km (5:50 / km)
shoes: Inov8 X-talon 212 Black
SYO event - West Haigh - Brown -8.9Km 175m
The previously mapped bit was as nice as I remember it but more than half the course was in less interesting regenerating woodland. Enjoyable enough though.
Unfortunately my race was tarnished by the aftereffects of last night. Curry repeating on me and had to slow down fairly regularly. Finally got going in the last 15 minutes. Lost a minute or two through not being careful enough.
