Orienteering race 1:10:20 [3] 8.48 km (8:18 / km)
ahr:144 max:155 (injured) shoes: VJ Falcon

Hawkes Bay OY - Ranui - 6.6Km

It's been a while since the last run on farmland, and this reminded me why I hate it. Seriously, put the bloody fences on the map!! It's hardly going to make it easier than it already is and at least I can then plot where to cross them in advance rather than having to go out of may way to find somewhere easy to cross.

So, obviously, didn't take it very seriously. No real mistakes except a very poor route 2-3 which seems to have cost a couple of minutes. Hamstring a bit sore at the start and glute got quite sore towards then end, so running really cautiously.

Note

Golf At Te Marua (Taita Drivers). 110 (27 points)

Fairly awful. Whatever could go wrong, did, and the Hutt River gathered a few errant shots. Still contributed quite a bit to the team score.

Running 25:00 [2] 4.5 km (5:33 / km)
(injured) shoes: Nike Air Pegasus 30 Blue

The short Avian-Avro loop.

Just a jog to recover from yesterday. Hamstring a bit sore, rest of body fairly stiff and achy.

Rogaine race 2:57:00 [3] 16.1 km (11:00 / km) +618m 9:13 / km
ahr:131 max:156 (injured) shoes: Inov8 X-talon 212

Eastbourne Rogaine with Casper.

Easy bit on the flat to start with, but very slow and tricky after that (first 4Km 23.14. Next Km 17.00, without any mistakes but with undies full of gorse!)

Mostly went to plan, but got stuck in some fairly awful vegetation at times. Not much to my surprise our original plan was on the ambitious side, but contingency plans worked well.

Physically not too bad given the lack of long runs, but Casper was probably not as fit as he sometimes is. Lots of bumps and bruises became apparent afterwards!

Running 48:18 [3] 9.43 km (5:07 / km) +156m 4:44 / km
ahr:133 max:153 (injured) shoes: Nike Air Pegasus 30 Blue

From TMP to Riverstone Terraces, along the bottom track then loop up and around Riverstone.

A new route and was actually better than expected. Feeling reasonable.

Running 41:40 [3] 6.01 km (6:56 / km) +234m 5:48 / km
ahr:126 max:143 (injured) shoes: Nike Pegasus 33

KPMG from River car park. Out along Pinetops(?) track down stream and back.

Very slippery. Needed different shoes. Hamstring quite sore, probably due to just having seen physio.
