Mt Climie. Small loop at the start (down to where I do hills), and over to the furthest summit at the top.

Took it fairly gently after what happened on Friday, and felt a bit weak at times. Pretty sure that was just general unfitness though. Hamstring and hip a little sore and felt fairly stiff and awkward after the descent.

Note

Golf at RW. 95 (37 points - now have an official handicap and it was 24 today).
Included a birdie on the 5th!! Hip grumbly at times.

Some of the tracks round Te Mata Peak.

Had a very limited time so was in a hurry and a bit panicky at the start. Felt awful and assumed it was just the busy, complicated day. Kept at it, but by the time I was just short of the top (having descended from the car park at the entrance to start with) was really struggling to keep running, even on the road,
so stopped because I needed to get back. At that point I realised I had the sped-up heart issue again. Jogged back down and it eventually fixed itself fairly soon after starting driving.

Discovered it had actually started after only about 3:30, when I was back in the car park having not found the right route at the start, so not surprising I was feeling terrible.

Got a puncture after about 10 mins. Turned out the pump was broken so Susan had to come down and rescue me with the big pump! Left quad a bit sore when putting effort in.

Avian - the loop part way down Guildford Spur (ACW) - Avro

Not feeling particularly fit. Hamstring a little sore, and calf sore for the last 5 minutes. No problems afterwards though.
