Orienteering race 29:57 [3] 3.88 km (7:43 / km) +219m 6:01 / km
ahr:142 max:156 (injured) shoes: VJ Falcon

Score event - Tinakori Hill

Supposed to be 60 mins, but realised very early that it was going to be easy to get all the controls. Unfortunately, controls barely yellow standard. Good fun though.

Doing this was a last minute decision based on hip pain having eased off. No problems at all while running - except for lots of other people on narrow tracks!

Note

Golf at RWGC. 99 (33 points). A lot of good stuff. Accuracy improving - now finding the greenside bunkers instead of putting the ball wide or short of them! Double figures on the 4th again.

Running 28:27 [3] 4.05 km (7:01 / km) +174m 5:47 / km
ahr:132 max:148 (injured) shoes: Nike Air Pegasus 30 Blue

Te Mata Peak again, this time from the Tauroa Rd entrance. Just a short loop (the Redwoods loop), and fairly gentle due to soreness. Beautiful day - too warm to cool down after finishing running at 9am.

Left hip (outer part) very sore yesterday and today as a result of the rogaine. Don't think running made it any worse, but all the driving, particularly yesterday, didn't help. That should be the last trip to Havelock North for a while though as everything is hopefully now sorted.

Rogaine race 3:00:50 [3] 23.25 km (7:47 / km) +736m 6:43 / km
ahr:125 max:152 (injured) shoes: Brooks Cascadia

From Liardet Park round Brooklyn, Newtown, Zoo etc, with Caspar.

Tough running with so much on hard surfaces. Didn't feel too good near the beginning but improved, while Caspar went the other way unfortunately. A bit overambitious at the end.

Hamstring a bit sore at times.

KGMP from the riverbank Car Park. Straight up the N. hill, down the 4WD track and back along the mid-level main route.

SI a bit grumbly. Splits for the first 4K : 11:12, 10:31, 4:25, 4:41!
