Running 1:26:00 [3] 13.5 km (6:22 / km) +510m 5:21 / km
ahr:126 max:143 (injured) shoes: Nike Pegasus 33

From Stratton St - 4 degree track - dress circle - back down from Belmont Trig (without visiting it).

A struggel. Feeling stiff, sore and tired, plus left heel was quite sore for the first time in a while. All ground is pretty hard at the moment!

Note

Before running, played the 6-hole shot course at Boulcott. 24 (par 20). Didn't play too well, but you get away with it there.

Cricket 1:20:00 [1]

2-dayer vs Onslow on Fraser 2.

Another fair old disaster with only 8 players at the start. My first duck for a few years. Bowled pretty well - figures of ... were pretty good considering the carnage at the other end (they declared on 273-9 after we were all out for 143). Had to bat again at the end of the day and was 14 not out.

Running 59:09 [3] 9.86 km (6:00 / km) +481m 4:49 / km
ahr:140 max:157 (injured) shoes: Nike Pegasus 33

From the entrance to Stokes Valley - Horoeka Track - Avian.

First day of summer and it really felt like it. Hard work in the heat, and not exactly feeling full of energy.

Running 44:12 [3] 7.0 km (6:19 / km)
ahr:127 max:150 (injured) shoes: Nike Pegasus 33

Exploring the NE end of St Pats Forest from the car park in the middle. Up the valley then up the hill to the right and almost back to the start along the ridge before retracing my steps. The running is much poorer than it used to be as there is basically only one major track - other tracks have been left to get overgrown. Frustrating.

No problems physically, but never pushing too hard beyond trying to keep running up some fairly steep slopes.

Orienteering 17:24 [4] 2.27 km (7:40 / km) +96m 6:20 / km
ahr:144 max:165 (injured) shoes: Inov8 X-talon 212

WOC training event at Spicer Park.

Ran a bit harder than intended and made a few small mistakes and one larger one (45s) at 11 where I wasn't expecting the depression to be so much above the stream.

Running 16:00 [2] 2.5 km (6:24 / km)
(injured) shoes: Inov8 X-talon 212

Warm-down lap of the area.

Monday Nov 27, 2017 #

Running 35:30 [3] 7.18 km (4:57 / km)
ahr:131 max:144 (injured) shoes: Nike Pegasus 33

From the driving range, up the river, around TMP and back.

A bit stiff and sore to start with, but got into it, though this was only ever a recovery run.

Some blisters after yesterday (feet were very sore at the end of the race).
