Orienteering race 17:03 [4] 2.65 km (6:26 / km) +110m 5:20 / km
ahr:148 max:161 (injured) shoes: Nike Pegasus 33

Sprint - Botanical Gardens.

Running reasonably well but lost 20 sec on a route choice early on and was pussyfooting around on some of the steep slopes. Always seem to struggle against the locals at the Botanical Gardens. Still quickest in the family, but may not be for long ...

Garmin measured the climb at 64m, but gives the difference between minimum and maximum elevation as 51m. But we went from the minimum to the maximum pretty much twice, plus there were other short climbs as well!

Cricket 1:00:00 [1]

Got dragged into a T20. Only 2 runs (done in by the extra pace and bounce of the artificial). Bowled one reasonable over. More exercise than usual in the fielding.

Running 1:04:54 [3] 11.13 km (5:50 / km) +364m 5:01 / km
ahr:129 max:147 (injured) shoes: Nike Pegasus 31

Avian - the loop part way down Guildford Spur (ACW) - Avro

Legs fairly tired though didn't feel too bad because it was cold and wet! Hip has been quite sore the past couple of days, but not affecting the running.

Orienteering race 40:58 [4] 5.01 km (8:11 / km) +194m 6:51 / km
ahr:143 max:153 shoes: Inov8 X-talon 212

CSW1 - Central Park (mostly Southern part) - 4.0Km

Very physical as expected with some thick bits and some fast bits. Felt tired before starting but ran OK. Fairly clean. Maybe -25s at 7 where the control was too high up the spur, and -15s at 12 where I was looking for the wrong feature. Pretty sure Garmin has underestimated the climb!

Cricket 1:25:00 [1]

2nd day of 2-dayer against Petone Fateh. Good match which ended in a draw with them having 2 wickets left and still needing another 60.

22 runs, 3-0-7-1.

Cycling 58:26 [3] 25.31 km (2:19 / km)

The Whitemans Valley loop ACW.

Last week was OK, but a lot tougher going up BMR, and obviously not cycling-fit at the moment. Still a reasonable time especially as there was a reasonable northerly breeze.

Running 55:26 [3] 10.5 km (5:17 / km) +185m 4:51 / km
ahr:136 max:154 shoes: Nike Pegasus 33 Blue

With the harriers. To KGMP round a bit of a loop and back. Had to cut it short to get back in time for a parent-teacher interview.

Was lucky to be in the front group as we must have disturbed a bees nest and the group behind suffered a lot of stings! Feeling reasonable physically, but that may just be because it was less humid at last.
