WOC Score event - Central Park

A 60 minute score event but realised quite quickly that getting all the controls was on, so planned with that in mind and made it easily despite numerous wobbles. Major problem was that I forgot my glasses despite taking them to the event, though may not have mattered as it was fairly wet. As a result, lost lots of small pieces of time in the circle through not reading detail completely. Felt a bit below par physically, though fortunately SI wasn't a major problem despite a constant slight soreness.

5 years ago I beat Tim in the NZ Champs Sprint. Not sure I'd fancy my chances now! Brilliant!

Note

Golf at RW with Alan - 95 (37 points). Playing fairly well but SI got very sore in the last hour and the standard went down (9 on the last!). Quite sore for most of the evening.

Hills - 2x4 session (on the modified version of the hill).

Legs felt fairly tired, particularly on the early efforts. Reasonable level of effort.

Harriers. Flat run along Ferguson Drive and back along the roads closer to the river. Not the longest version as several people running XC Nationals at the weekend.

Feeling fine although SI a bit grumbly early on.

Suffering a bit from yesterday. OK until I hit the first hint of uphill and then the legs felt tired.
